Meet our Chef, Ringo!
Chef Jovon Barnes discovered his love for cooking at the age of 4 as he helped his grandmother (Big Momma) in the kitchen. His love for cooking and entertaining followed him into adulthood. In 2013, his
Big Momma became unable to continue the tradition of preparing the holiday meals. So he and his cousin took up the reigns and prepared the entire family meal. INSTANT HIT!!!! This experience led to him enrolling in culinary school to further develop his skills and pursue his passion.
He graduated culinary school in 2015 at the top 5% of his class, and has been TOP CLASS every since!!
Ringo B’s specializes in event catering, private dining, and of course, his specialty teas and drinks. Ringo B’s Famous Tea went public in the fall of 2021 at the NEA District Fair and has been in high demand ever since. #TasteLikeGood, his business motto, is the best description for everything this chef produces.
